Tyrrell - Robofucius EP

COVER Robofucius EP Distributed by OUR Distribution

Release Notes:

The "Robofucius EP" consists of three very different tracks weaved together by the thread of Tyrrell´s unique production and musicianship. With two critically acclaimed albums under his belt as Interfearence several years ago, this new solo project sees the continuation of that "out of category" "no rules" style of music.

The title track, "Robofucius" (A1), began life as a funky breakbeat jam with Tyrrell playing all the instruments into his computer but then he added some robotic spoken wisdom from a student of Confucius; hence "Robofucius".

"LaLaLaLaLaLa" (B1) is a much more minimal, electro floor-filler that has already had massive reactions on dance floors in London. Tyrrell sings the simple, nonsensical "lalalalalala" confirming his status as one of the greatest lyricists in modern music.

Former Break Reform vocalist Nanar makes a guest appearance on the down-tempo chill out track "As I Listen" (B2). Previously an instrumental groove that Tyrrell wrote on a Wurlitzer while working in a studio in Belgium many years ago, now Nanar´s voice flows over the song like honey.

Not so much "a little something for everyone" as "everyone will find a little something".
