The long awaited debut 12" "Step In" by Roland Schwarz aka Raul Irie, co-founder of Etage Noir Recordings, has finally arrived! After delivering a fantastic remix of Parov Stelar´s "Super 8" on the already legendary "Kiss Kiss" EP in 2004, Roland Schwarz´ very own first relaese is due. And what a hot one it is!
"Step In" perfectly blends into Etage Noir´s back-catalogue of percussive, funk infused modern jazz dance tracks. Such references alone ensure plenty of attention for an artist and his release. But Roland Schwarz steps into the arena with a joker up his sleeve!

"Step In" - the title track is a cheeky jazz-groover that develops it´s charme with a piano motive and a funked up saxophone melody, that takes the track to it´s climax and your feet right to the floor.
"Lo Cura" - a big bollocks latin burner features a fat brass hook for all those latin lovers and fans of "Fort Knox Five" out there! Very representative for Roland´s production style and his musical roots, "Lo Cura" will fit in perfectly with the track selection of his furious DJ-sets.
Step In (Faze Action Remix) - Roland Schwarz´ jazzy original gets an irresistible and steamy disco rework! Simon and Robin Lee, the London brothers of NUphonic fame, better known as Faze Action manage to give "Step In" a entirely new twist and turn a dancing crowd into a wiggley heap of bodies. Those synths - to die for!
