Parov Stelar did it again. Parov once again transfers with "wanna get" brain stimulating jazz to the dancefloor - although not forgetting the chilling community. On the dancefloor, in your car or in your easy chair - "wanna get" works!
This record pumps the love of live at 120 bpm out of the speakers with a self confident baseline and aplenty of old jazz samples. Even the toughest sourpuss will rock the dancefloor.
Dublex inc. And Inverse Cinematics of Pulver Records appear as guest remixers on the flipside. Dublex Inc. Turns "wanna get" into a great homage to jazz - balancing the mixture of genius and insanity, making it clear why this collective from Stuttgart is one of the most creative producer teams of our times.
Also the boys from Inverse Cinematics hit us with their readaption - a concentrated charge of sheer power and good taste.
"for all we know" can be heard on A2 as a little extra bonus and foretaste of the upcoming album of Parov Stelar.

Third release, third killer. Maybe the one with the bigger potential in my eyes.
This catchy reinterprentation of old jazz bits sounds like St Germain on LSD especially the Dublex Inc. that keep a more genuine feel than the original which appear a little bit too sterile for me...
The Inverse Cinematics mix serves another interesting rendition confirming their status of fresh remixers...
Not to forget the very nice A2, one of the nicest tracks of the album, cleverly included here to give us a taste of cinematic bubble of air between 3 floor moments that will surely inspire the most audacious dj's around...

Das dritte Release des Marcus Füreder aus Linz in den vergangenen fünf Monaten und ich muss sagen, Hut ab vor dem Mann. Nicht nur, dass sein Label Etage Noir von Woche zu Woche mehr positive Beachtung erfährt, nein, auch der jazzschwangere DeepDance-Sound des Österreichers bringt echten Spaß. "Wanna Get" im Original marschiert creamy-moody dahin, die Hook wird abwechselnd von Sax, String und Piano getragen und man kommt nicht umhin mitzuwippen.
"For all we know" bietet darauf Downbeat-Listening erster Güte, bis flipside der "Wanna Get"-Remix der Stuttgarter Dublex Inc. Jungs die verjazzte Ragtime-Keule auspackt. Der finale "Inverse Cinematics"- Mix stellt dem Hörer mit äußerst sexy, smooth Breaks nach und überzeugt absolut. Klasse Platte. Wir freuen uns aufs bald erscheinende Album!
